Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice
Jennifer's practice consists of representing healthcare providers in malpractice litigation. She has assisted various types of providers including hospitals, doctors, nurses, physician's assistants, long term care facilities, and physical/occupational therapists.
Governmental Liability
Jennifer also assists with Hall, Booth's position as Tift County Attorney.
General Liability
Jennifer has represented such clients as individuals involved in auto accidents, retail store owners, and other individuals and entities involved in general liability matters.
Real Estate
Jennifer has assisted in conducting various real estate transactions and is currently helping develop a practice to provide this service to new clients as well as long standing clients.
Transportation
Jennifer has represented clients in both motor vehicle accidents and incidents involving common carriers. Her experience includes providing opinions on loss coverage, apportionment among multiple carriers and policies, uninsured/underinsured motorists, and level of exposure.
Biography
Jennifer Dorminey is a native of Tifton, Georgia and returned to her home town to be an associate in our Tifton office. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Presbyterian College in 2003 with a double major in English, with an emphasis in creative writing, and Religion/Philosophy. In 2006, she graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law. During her time at UGA, Jennifer was a member of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and her note entitled "Where You Stand Depends on Where You Sit": Should the United States' FDA Have Followed the Lead of Great Britain's MHRA in Banning Antidepressant Drug Use in Children and Adolescents? was selected for publication. Also, Jennifer received the Notes Editor of the Year Award for 2005-2006.
