Healthcare
Mr. Wortham represents Clients in all aspects of long-term care litigation.

General Liability
Mr. Wortham has handled a wide variety of general liability defense work involving serious injury and death including premises and retail liability, construction defects and products liability. He has also acted as lead counsel to one of the Big Three automobile manufacturers in the defense of products liabilty class actions.

Appellate
Mark has argued many groundbreaking cases in Georgia's appellate courts including decisions that changed the standard of care for daycare providers, the application of the attorney-client privilege to corporate employees and the manner in which Georgia courts are to apply exceptions to sovereign immunity to the actions of police and firefighters.

Workers' Compensation
Mark specializes in representing employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters across the entire state. He has tried hundreds of cases over the last 19 years.

Biography
Mark is AV rated and has practiced in the areas of general liability and workers' compensation since his admission to the Bar. He has also engaged in a wide variety of litigation including automobile and premises liability, class action defense, construction defects, products liability and insurance coverage. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict and judgment and argued numerous cases before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. As a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, Mark represents the State in a variety of tort claims.
