Property / SIU
Mr. Fisher chairs the Property/SIU practice group. He has concentrated his practice in this area for over 30 years, handling arson, fraud and suicide claims for property and casualty and life insurance carriers nationwide. He has tried and arbitrated numerous such cases in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Fisher is a frequent speaker on the national level as well as statewide in the field.
Insurance Coverage
Mr. Fisher's insurance coverage experience includes coverage analysis and litigation arising out of coverage decisions pertaining to life, property and casualty coverage issues, including bad faith, employee dishonesty, apportionment, uninsured motorist, causation, business interruption and excess coverage under commercial, personal, inland marine, specialty line policies.
General Liability
Mr. Fisher has vast experience in litigation arising out of trucking, automotive, products and premises liability claims, including wrongful death, throughout the Southeast.
Transportation
Mr. Fisher has extensive experience in third party litigation arising out of trucking, automotive, products and premises liability claims, involving catastrophic injury, including wrongful death.
Whether 3PL, Broker, Carrier, Cargo or liability claims or coverage issues, the transportation practice group is comprised of attorneys with vast litigation and coverage experience. Having represented carriers, brokers, operators and insurers engaged in trucking and the transportation industry, Mr. Fisher has been involved in catastrophic injury cases involving liability issues unique to trucking and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Biography
James H. Fisher, II, is a partner in the firm's Atlanta office. Mr. Fisher is involved in the representation of property and casualty insurance companies, life insurance companies and self-insured corporations in all areas of first party and third party litigation with an emphasis in fire, arson, fraud, employee dishonesty, health care fraud, suicide and coverage issues throughout the Southeast for nearly 30 years and has tried and arbitrated numerous such cases in both State and Federal courts.
