Mr. Gresh has experience in counseling hospitals and other healthcare providers in HIPAA compliance, document production, document retention, policy administration and development as an outside general counsel. Mr. Gresh's experience as a litigator and outside general counsel provides a unique perspective on the difficulties faced by healthcare providers.
Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice
Mr. Gresh has defended hospitals, individual physicians and their practices, individual nurses, temporary nursing staffing agencies and other medical defendants in medical malpractice cases involving alleged negligent care and treatment, negligent misdiagnosis, lack of consent, and wrongful death. Additionally, Mr. Gresh has written articles concerning the complex interaction between physicians as independent contractors, employees, and the various types of agency status necessary for vicarious liability.
Employment
Using his real world experience of managing several hundred employees prior to going to law school, Mr. Gresh also counsels clients on several aspects of employment law.
Biography
Raised in Atlanta since grade school, Mr. Gresh is practically an Atlanta native. Staying in Georgia to continue his education, Mr. Gresh attended the University of Georgia for a degree in economics where he received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and graduated cum laude. Thereafter, Mr. Gresh returned to Atlanta to obtain his juris doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law, from which he also graduated cum laude.
Mr. Gresh and his wife, a nurse in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab of a local area hospital, now reside in Smyrna, Georgia.
