Position:
Hall Booth Smith & Slover, P.C. is seeking a Director of Business Development to manage the marketing and business development activities of the firm. HBSS has more than 100 attorneys with offices in Atlanta, Albany, Athens, Brunswick, Columbus, and Tifton, Georgia as well as an office in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Director of Business Development will work with the Marketing Committee, practice group leaders and individual attorneys to develop an annual marketing plan and budget, research new and prospective clients, draft and develop marketing materials and presentations. The Director will develop and maintain the firm CRM system, maintain vendor relationships as it relates to public relations, Website, graphic design and event management. The Director will also assist with client development opportunities and maintain an understanding of market trends in order to make strategic recommendations on office, practice and industry groups.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a closely related field as well as 5+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience in a law firm or professional services firm. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while working well with all levels of personnel.
